Clutch Release Bearing
Usually they come as part of a three piece clutch kit since it's a false economy to replace just a release bearing on it's own when you've gone to the trouble of getting (at least) the engine out and onto the deck if not the engine and box. So, I would have thought the usual suppliers would be able to help with a 3 part kit?

That being said, take a look at ebay item number 220994545483 for the individual part.

The parts # proved useful however the usual U.K. stockists have zero stock and can not place a timeframe on availablity.
Can anyone help with detail of a supplier or an alternative technique ?

Part number GRB106 that SC Parts list on eBay is for the MGB, the correct part for the V8 is GRB224.

Moss list GRB224 on their website, as does Brown & Gammons, I assume you have tried these and they are out of stock? If none of the MG parts suppliers have any stock have you tried bearing suppliers? The MG part number won’t mean anything to them but if you have the part they may be able to match it or read the bearing number off of the part.

I have read that as long as you have the carrier a 1500 Midget or Triumph Spitfire bearing GRB207 will fit the original carrier – I have no idea if this is correct but for £15 it might be worth trying. certainly looks similar to
