Auto Bild Photo Shoot
AutoBild, the largest German car magazine with a weekly circulation of nearly 600,000, is coming to Abingdon on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th August 2012 to conduct a feature on the MGB50. Chris Seaward at Club Office says Auto Bild would like examples of the MGB and its derivatives to be involved in the feature so he has approached the V8 Register for volunteers with a Factory MGBGTV8 and an MG RV8 to have their cars at the photoshoot. Chris understands the journalists will want to photograph the cars and drive them too – he adds “I have to say that I find classic car journalists in general do take good care of vehicles they are driving.” He adds that Tuesday 28th is going to be the date we’d prefer members to attend but if they can only make the 29th, could they call him at Club Office on 01235 555552 or contact him by email at chrisseaward((at)) so he can discuss the German magazine’s schedule with you. If you do volunteer do let the V8 Secretary Debbie Brading know – you can find her email address by clicking the “Contacts” rollover button below the scrolling banner on the V8 website homepage.
