Boot rack
A couple of months ago on an MG run in Yorkshire I spoke to an RV8 owner who had a La Prealpina boot rack fitted to his Woodcote green car. I have contacted (internet site) but they say they don't supply a boot rack for the RV8. Does anyone know what La Prealpina rack would fit the RV8? They do many including one for the MGF/TF but I'm uncertain if this would be the correct size. Thanks,
Gordon Russell

RV8 note 346 might help. …"The manufacturer is La Prealpina in Turin - I originally bought it from Brown and Gammons to fit on a MGF, but as the clamps are fully adjustable and clip to the edges of the boot lid, it fits the RV8 as well”…

Thanks for highlighting RV8NOTE346 in which the contribution from Brian Moyse you quoted mentions this rack. For fellow members and visitors to the V8 website do note the search box on the V8 Website homepage does yield links to RV8NOTE346 by simply typing in the key work "Prealpina". It's worth mentioning again our guide to using the various search facilities on the V8 website is at:

I'm not familiar with these racks but just a thought; do they make one for an MGB? The boot lid is the same on both cars so this might be worth checking out.
